In their first official collaboration—”THE LONE RACER“—Mad Daddy D. and Sean Danconia pay homage to the iconic Texas speedway that launched a generation of drag-racers and bootleggers—smack in the middle of Rebel Road 76 (the old Seventy-Six City highway that birthed Route 66). The LONE RACER SPEEDWAY—constructed by the 20th Century Motor Company of pure Rearden Steel—was opened in 1929 and remained in operation until the U.S. Highway system was officially decommissioned in 1985.
